Today is great news for retro gamers who own current gen consoles! We have a double dose of retro revamping going on today, as SEGA just announced that the Saturn classic NiGHTS Into Dreams will receive an HD Remake that will be available on The Playstation Network, XBOX Live Arcade, and even as a downloadable PC game through Steam!
This is the latest HD remake to be announced as part of SEGA?s Heritage series, which has already graced us with announcements of remakes for beloved classics like Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5, and Jet Set Radio Future. All of the original levels from the Saturn version are completely redone, and, if you so desire, you can even play the original Saturn version from 16 years ago. The new mode will have a full set of achievements/trophies available as well!
While there is no set release date as of yet, look for the NiGHTS HD remake to become available this fall.
